On
Saturday, June 05, 2010 we will hold the
Second Annual Taco Shack Freddie Frijole Fun
Run. This 5K and kid’s triathlon will benefit
the Center for Child Protection. Yoli and
I would like to invite you to join in our
support of this local children’s
nonprofit.
For 14 years, Taco Shack has been a part of Austin. In 1996, Yoli and I opened
our first Taco Shack at 4412 Medical Parkway in a small Central Austin building
that formerly housed a barbecue restaurant. Since then, we have opened six more
locations around Austin and will soon open a new location in Round Rock.
We have been committed to the Austin community by sponsoring local school events
and the Center for Child Protection. Please help us establish this annual fundraiser
to benefit the children of Austin. Your support will allow us to provide an on-going
event for this essential nonprofit.
Thank you for your help in building a community where children are valued and
protected.

Center for Child Protection
The Center for Child Protection provides help,
hope, and healing to children who are victims
of sexual assault, severe physical injury,
or who are witnesses to violent crime. The
Center is the only nonprofit agency in Travis
County involved in the investigation of crimes
against children. It is the “first stop” in
the child abuse investigation process, offering
a pioneering approach in which investigating
agencies collaborate to place a child’s best
interests first. All services, both investigative
and therapeutic, are offered to children and
their protective caregivers free of charge.
